DUFFY DILLON – ANNOUNCER BIO
SAFETY TRAINING FOR SWIM COACHES
& CPR/FIRST AID/AED
Required for all USA Swimming coaches.
Great training for all other aquatics coaches – High School, College, Masters, Summer Leagues, and all other non-USA Swimming clubs, etc.
This is a Blended Learning Course:
- 3 hours online for the STSC Class portion (you register directly with the Red Cross for $25)
- 3 hours online for the CPR/First Aid/AED portion
- 3 hours in Person (1.5 for the STSC Skils and 1.5 for the CPR/First Aid/AED skills and Exam)
Fee: $195/student
Each class needs a minimum of 6 participants & max class size is limited.

STSC Candidates must be the minimum age required by the their Swimming “Association” governing body.
Step 1 – Register with THE Pool Trainers
CONTACT TO SCHEDULEComplete the registration process and payment with THE Pool Trainers and receive your online access to the online learning portion of the class.
Step 2 – Complete the Online Learning certificate on the Red Cross website (Allow 3 hours for STSC + 3 hours for CPR/First Aid/AED)
Complete approx. 6 hours of the self-paced, online learning portion of the course on your own. Must be completed in advance of the Live session.
Email completion certificate to ddillon@thepooltrainers.com (or bring to your Live session).
Step 3 – Attend ALL of the Live Session and satisfactorily pass all of the skills and written Exams. (3 Hours total)
CPR/FIRST AID/AED only
Often Required for all coaches at many levels for all sports - High School, College, Masters, Summer Leagues, AAU, and many other types of clubs.
Great training for the General Public at large – it might help you save someone’s life!
